These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are the End User License Agreement for AI Coach Eyes, including the iOS app, website, AI-assisted analysis, training recommendations, and related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these Terms and Apple’s standard EULA conflict for an App Store purchase, Apple’s standard EULA controls for that purchase.

1. About AI Coach Eyes

AI Coach Eyes provides AI-assisted analysis of exercise and sporting movements, including running, strength training, weightlifting, functional fitness, and HYROX-style training. Users may record or choose a local video and receive automated analysis, measurements, technique feedback, and training suggestions.

AI-generated results may contain errors and should not be treated as guaranteed or definitive assessments.

2. Independent product and HYROX® disclaimer

AI Coach Eyes is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with HYROX®, HYROX World GmbH, or any of their affiliates. HYROX® and related names, logos, events, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. References to HYROX are descriptive of the type of training users may wish to analyse.

3. Fitness and health disclaimer

The Service is a fitness and sports-analysis tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, physiotherapy, rehabilitation advice, or medical treatment. AI-generated feedback should not replace advice from a qualified coach, doctor, physiotherapist, or other healthcare professional.

Exercise involves inherent risks, including injury. You are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for you. Stop and seek professional advice if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms.

4. AI-generated analysis

Pose is extracted on your device (Apple Vision on iPhone). The video file is not uploaded. Servers receive computed metrics and scores, not the video.

The 4-week corrective plan is generated from those score numbers by a third-party language-model API (OpenAI). Video is never sent to that service.

Measurements and recommendations are estimates. Accuracy can be affected by camera position, lighting, clothing, video quality, visibility, frame rate, device characteristics, movement complexity, and limitations of AI models. We do not guarantee that analysis is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.

5. Auto-renewable subscription (4 Weeks Plan)

Paid features on iOS are offered as an auto-renewable In-App Purchase:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your AI Coach Eyes account does not cancel the App Store subscription.

The free tier includes a limited number of analyses per calendar month. The paid plan unlocks 4-week training plans and a higher analysis allowance, subject to a fair-use ceiling stated in the app.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies.

6. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the security of your account and for activity conducted through it. You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person. You must be at least 13 years old.

7. User videos and content

You retain ownership of videos, images, and other content you record or select. Video stays on the device. By using the Service you grant us the limited rights necessary to process derived metrics, store scorecards and plans, and operate the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You must only submit content you have the right to use.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse or interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorised access, upload illegal or harmful material, use another person’s video without permission, reverse engineer protected portions except where permitted by law, use automated methods to abuse the Service, or use the Service for unlawful purposes.

9. Intellectual property

AI Coach Eyes, including its software, interface, branding, designs, AI systems, graphics, and original content, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for your own content, these Terms do not grant you ownership of that intellectual property.

10. Availability and changes

We may modify, update, add, or remove features. We may temporarily suspend parts of the Service for maintenance, security, technical, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that AI-generated analysis will always be accurate, complete, error-free, or suitable for your circumstances. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Coach Eyes and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from your use of the Service. You remain responsible for decisions concerning training, exercise selection, technique, equipment, environment, and physical safety.

13. Privacy and third-party services

Collection and processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. The Service integrates with third parties including Clerk (authentication), Apple In-App Purchase via RevenueCat, Neon (database), OpenAI (plan text from score numbers, not video), Inngest (background jobs), Expo Push Notifications, Sentry (crash reporting), and ImageKit (static coaching images only).

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where a user materially violates these Terms, abuses the Service, or creates security risks.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required by law.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
